I’m SUPER excited to announce the release of Under the Bed Across the World by Rose Candis! Rose was a BLAST to work with! Even though this was a tough book to work on (content-wise and emotionally), we shared plenty of laughs. I also learned a lot from this wonderful lady.

(Oh, and I had the pleasure of editing it — working with Rose was a blast!) Full of humor, heartache, tragedy, and triumph, this memoir has it all.

About the Author
Rose Candis lives with her daughter Erica, fiance Patrick, step-daughter Lucy, and two cats in Kentucky. She has a private psychotherapy practice where she specializes in eating disorders and trauma. In 2011, Rose returned to China in search of Erica’s birth mother. Since that time, their story has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic, and The Pulitzer Center for Crisis reporting. Rose met with the Executive Congressional Commission on China in DC three times from 2012-2013 to encourage reform for more transparent adoptions in China.

Status Update: Homeward Bound

I am happy to officially announce that I only have three  jobs, all of them in editing! Today was my last day in an office building. I can’t honestly say I’m sad to go.

Dreamspinner Press made me an off I couldn’t refuse, which I happily accepted. I will continue to work for Entranced Publishing and to do freelance for my wonderful Indie authors. I also have an application in for another publishing house, but I don’t know if that will lead anywhere.

So YES, I am still taking new authors. Tell your friends. I’m excited to see a few returning authors this summer and can’t wait to see their new projects! And YES, I will be working from home, but that still does mean *working*. And while I might not have an office with a view, it *is* a corner office! (Okay, so it’s just a corner desk, but still!)

I can only humbly thank those who have helped me get here (you know who you are). Thank you.

New Release: Tanner

Today’s new release is a special one! I had the pleasure of working with author Mona Hanna on this book! It’s called Tanner (Prentor Book 2) and is the sequel to Myriad.  It’s a sweet tale of love, spell casting, friendship, and forgiveness. I’ve done some beta reading for Mona in the past (on the first book in this series, actually), so I was happy to work with her on this one as well! I hear there’s a third book in the works and can’t wait to see what awaits these characters!
If you’re looking for a quick read full of magic, check this one out! Though you should probably just go all in and get Myriad first to get the introduction to the characters!
