Welcome to #FeatureFriday! Today I have an author I’ve worked with for several years now, and on several very varied stories! It’s a special post, too, since it’s an anniversary! Happy 3rd year anniversary, Grace!
Welcome to #FeatureFriday! Today we have the lovely Lex Chase talking cosplay! It’s a great way to bring your book to life, give it even more character, and interact with fans on a unique level. Have a look below and see what you think!
Found out I lost a great friend and author last night. Hugh Rawson had been fighting for a long time, but now is hopefully at peace.
Hugh worked in movies in his younger years, working his way up to an assistant producer to films such as Crocodile Dundee and Maria’s Lovers. There he met many people and touched their lives, and had wonderful stories to tell about his time on (and off) set. He worked with names such as Jon Kilik (Hunger Games), who he kept in touch with even after he traded big-time sets for small-town life.
He continued to engage the minds of others with his sci-fi book, Secrets of a Universe: The Mindkey Project. The first planned of seven, it is the only one released. I had the pleasure to work with him on it. He had an incredible imagination that will live on in his writing.
Rest well, my friend, and I’ll see you in the astral world.

I’d like to take this time to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
There are many things that I am thankful for everyday, but especially today I’m thankful for my family. Four years ago, my little one was born. I’m so lucky to have her in my life. She’s a joy even when she’s being a stinker. Happy birthday!
I am happy to officially announce that I only have three jobs, all of them in editing! Today was my last day in an office building. I can’t honestly say I’m sad to go.
Dreamspinner Press made me an off I couldn’t refuse, which I happily accepted. I will continue to work for Entranced Publishing and to do freelance for my wonderful Indie authors. I also have an application in for another publishing house, but I don’t know if that will lead anywhere.
So YES, I am still taking new authors. Tell your friends. I’m excited to see a few returning authors this summer and can’t wait to see their new projects! And YES, I will be working from home, but that still does mean *working*. And while I might not have an office with a view, it *is* a corner office! (Okay, so it’s just a corner desk, but still!)
I can only humbly thank those who have helped me get here (you know who you are). Thank you.
