RIP Hugh Rawson

Found out I lost a great friend and author last night. Hugh Rawson had been fighting for a long time, but now is hopefully at peace.

Hugh worked in movies in his younger years, working his way up to an assistant producer to films such as Crocodile Dundee and Maria’s Lovers. There he met many people and touched their lives, and had wonderful stories to tell about his time on (and off) set. He worked with names such as Jon Kilik (Hunger Games), who he kept in touch with even after he traded big-time sets for small-town life.

He continued to engage the minds of others with his sci-fi book, Secrets of a Universe: The Mindkey Project. The first planned of seven, it is the only one released. I had the pleasure to work with him on it. He had an incredible imagination that will live on in his writing.

Rest well, my friend, and I’ll see you in the astral world.
