Guest Post: Melynda Fleury

Today’s post is a little bitter-sweet. My pal Jenn brought this to my attention, and I felt like I should post it also. While not really a “guest post,” I hope you will read on to see the strength of this woman and what challenges she has overcome. I’m sure there’s a lesson in there, somewhere…

Melynda from Crazy World lost her eyesight.  We’re very good friends and her loss broke my heart. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, please go here:

Guest Post: JC Andrijeski

Today I have the pleasure of having JC Andrijeski, author of the Allie’s War series, here to talk about character creation. JC’s writing flows along, her characters taking on a life of their own – and now we know why! She’s in the middle of a blog tour and kindly let me join in the fun! While I’ve only read the first book in her series so far, I can say I was hooked and can’t wait to read the rest of them!

So go grab your coffee and see this post through to the end (it’s a bit long but totally worth it). Leave a comment if you write your characters this way also, or if you don’t, what do you do instead. Now, here’s JC! Continue reading Guest Post: JC Andrijeski

Guest Interview: Tiny

Today I’m happy to announce our guest is from two of the books I’ve edited in the past year, The Reluctant and The Willing, by C.S. Splitter. Though he was unable to make it himself – I hear he’s busy with a blog tour – Splitter has been kind enough to send Tiny in his place. While these books follow Tom Crayder around, Tiny has been making a name for himself in them as well. He comes up with interesting ways to help Tom in some sticky situations and is always good for a laugh.

I hear he has a cult following online, too.

So, with that, here’s Tiny!

Guest Post: Alyssa Reyans

Today I have a different kind of book for you to consider. While I don’t actively seek memoirs to read, after talking to this great lady, I can’t wait to dive into this one. Here’s her blurb:

In “Letters of A Bipolar Mother,” Alyssa Reyans tells the story she’s never been able to tell her children: of how she lost them in a battle with her own mental illness. she shares with them – and the world – what the mind of a woman suffering bipolar depression looks like, how the darkness she battled on a daily basis almost won, and how, years later, she found the courage to claw her way out of the abyss.

Covering a span of five years, Alyssa Reyans shares both her pain and strength in a struggle against an incurable illness that many women today also share.

And now, here’s Alyssa!

Guest Post: L C Smith

Today I have L. C. Smith here for a little Q&A session! I had the pleasure of reading her novel, Falling, recently, and you can find my review here.

First, a little about L. C. Smith.

I love reading, which is why I’m a writer. I live in New Zealand, close to both the ocean and the mountains. In my spare time I love to play tennis really badly, try and grow things in my tiny garden and eat toffeepops.

Falling is a love story about Reid, who after the death of her parents in a car accident when she was eleven, gained the ability to jump into peoples bodies. Not a single person knows her secret, not her only friend Sara and especially not Keller. The problem is, every time she looks into her eyes, she starts to fall into him.

Guest Interview: Jim Galford and Feanne

Today I have the pleasure of having Jim Galford, author of In Wilder Lands: The Fall of Eldvar here with me to do an interview, and he brought Feanne along with him!

For those of you who haven’t heard/read this wonderful book yet, In Wilder Lands is an epic fantasy novel that follows Estin, a wildling, as he endeavors to just be left alone, find shelter and food, and live to a nice old age. When he meets Feanne, she changes his whole outlook on life. For more, check out my review.

And now, because you don’t want to make her mad by forcing her to wait, here’s Feanne.

Guest Interview: Zach Kalusky

ebooks

Today is my stop on the Ghosts of Rosewood Asylum blog tour! I’m very excited to be interviewing Zach from Xavier Paranormal Investigators. Before that though, I’d like to point you to my 5-star review of Ghosts of Rosewood Asylum. I truly enjoyed the book – which followed as Zach and his crew ventured into Rosewood Hospital. A great mix of suspense, thrills and the unexplained.

But I don’t want to give it all away! Oh, wait, I DO! That’s right, I’m going to give away a FREE EBOOK! But more on that later.

Now, I ran into Zach the beginning of the second day they were at Rosewood, and I’m excited to see how the first night went, and perhaps get some inside info as well! Here’s what he had to say: Continue reading Guest Interview: Zach Kalusky

A Little Breaking and Entering with Dear old Uncle Bill

Hello Kiddies! It is your dear old Uncle Bill here. Just give me a second to close this window behind me. Nice place! I don’t think Tricia will mind if I just borrow her house coat and slippers. Well, looky there, still some hot coals in the fireside. Let me throw on a log before we settle down here. What’s that you ask? Am I supposed to be here? Let’s just say I’m watching the place while the Kristufek clan is away. We’ll call it a “service” of sorts. Now, it’s time to make my own impression on the cushion of this big leather armchair. Continue reading Guest Post: Bill Talcott

Guest Interview: Eric Smith

Today I have Eric Smith, author of “The Path,” with me to give me a little information about this self-help book.* He was kind enough to give me some information about how this book came about and what you can find inside. There are a lot of questions this book boasts answers to, including: how to increase your memory, the correct way to diet, how to deal with stress (good and bad), power listening and the key to building your perfect body.  And now, to explain a little bit more about his book, here’s Eric!

Guest Post: Masquerade’s Kimber

Hey all! Today I have a real treat for you! As part of The Heven and Hell Tour, Cambria Hebert has agreed to let me interview one of her characters!

Before I introduce you to our guest, please be sure to stop by my review of Masquerade and hop over to Cambria’s site to give her some love and congratulate her on her debut novel!

I know, you all have been reading about Sam and Heven for a while now on this tour, and while I love them, I wanted to give the spotlight to another (deserving) cast member. So here, for your reading pleasure, in all her glory – Please welcome Kimber!
