Review: Serenya’s Song

Serenya's Song
Serenya’s Song by Mysti Parker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I doubted heaven was within my reach until now, when two similar souls could make such beautiful music together and send my spirit soaring into the sky.

Serenya has the ability to interpret dreams and a birth defect that forces her to wear gloves. She’s endured small-town gossip and the cruelty of her husband, Sebastian, The Earl of Summerwind, but when Jayden comes to town, her world is turned upside down.

Having met Jayden in A Ranger’s Tale, readers will know some of his back story and why he is new to Summerwind. Serenya’s past (and present) is a tragic story, made worse when her tragic love is found in Jayden. What follows is a tale full of twists, inner turmoil, love, and lose befitting something out of Shakespear.

Love, adventure, a beautiful setting, strong characters–all reasons to pick up both Tallenmere books. The flowing language keeps reader’s attention, speeding this fantasy/romance towards it’s inevitable yet unpredictable conclusion.
