There it is Kiddies, the Kristufek House! Yeah, yeah, I know what the doctor said but surely, it’ll be fine if we just stop by and take a peek. You know, for old time’s sake. Oh my, Kiddies, it just like we left it, except for the house coat and slippers that is. The police are still holding those for evidence. And look, the window is still unlocked. Restraining order? I’m sure Ms. Kristufek didn’t mean it when she filed that against us. Come now, Kiddies, this was just meant to be.
Just let me get comfortable now and… Oh my, I see someone has been doing a little writing. Hmmm, The Finder. He he he, let’s hope no one finds us here or your Dear Old Uncle Bill will be fitted for one of those special jackets again.

Today’s new release is from the Sidhe series by S.A . Archer and S. Ravynheart called “Eyes of Magic.”

I look at the stars every night and think about home…
The leader of the Undead – a group of mercenaries – agrees to take Darkblood with them, against his better judgement when they are tasked with taking a dying scientist to the planet Valdorion in search of a cure. Once they’ve arrived, Darkblood is given the task of protecting the scientist, which also gives him a small amount of protection. Soon, the mission falls apart, and Darkblood slowly learns what the real mission was – and how he can stop it.
Set in a beautiful world similar to ours, the language making it easy to envision the surroundings and the people. The interactions of the different characters clearly defines each of them – and they are all clearly different. Mostly through dialogue, the characters come to life, encouraging the reader to feel right along with them. The tough decisions made and the depth of emotion shown add to the complexity of Darkblood et al, making them very “real” and relatable.
Undertones of friendship, loyalty, love and loss, as well as conspiracy and treachery, abound as the cast of characters grow before the reader’s eyes. Masterfully interwoven between the characters, The Mission is a quick read with a vivid world that can easily entertain more stories, as well as the reader.
Today’s new release is a tad different from my others. It’s a screenplay called A Good Man by Vanessa Morgan and is currently in pre-production with Radowski Films.

Shayla didn’t ask to be a Councillor. A Phoenician shouldn’t have to live among the humans, let alone take part in their world. She only came here when the Seven Chiefs ordered her to go with Raif, a Proctor from the world Outside. They said they had a Plan. The Seven Chiefs always had a Plan, but Shayla had made plans of her own now, after 13 years of life under the World Council.
Raif had never intended for things to go this far. A few months, maybe a year, and he could send the little Phoenician girl home again, back where she belonged. Where she’d be safe. Even a Proctor couldn’t protect her from the World Council. He couldn’t protect himself. The Seven Chiefs had gotten him started on a quest for answers about his own genetic history and the further he dug into it, the more questions he had. After producing a Designated Heir, Raif finds himself in competition with his own progenitor for control of his future and Shayla seems to be the only one who can save him now.
But nothing is as it seems and no plan survives first contact with the enemy. Who will live and who will die–and whose Plan is this anyway?

The story of The Necro Device begins several decades in the past with the Mandiev brothers. They were extreme circus performers and traveled the world with an amazing, yet daring, show. Their stepfather – Vince Stevens trained them in the arts and taught them everything they knew, but it was for another reason, one that will later haunt and control the community for years to come. Vince built a device that required elemental energy, human energy, to power it. It required four types total, and like a combination, depending on the four elements used, it produced a specific result.
In the case of the Mandiev brothers, each of them was trained in a specific element: Marcus was trained in the arts of physical endurance and regeneration – Body. Phillip was trained to master telepathic and mental abilities – Mind. Christopher was trained to withstand extremely cold temperatures – Ice. Ryan was the master of hell itself – Fire. The combination of elemental energy determined the machines output. If every requirement was met and it was designed correctly, it could then be powered up and operated one time before it would ultimately destroy itself.
The device was never meant to be built.
After constructing the machine, Vince later meets an untimely death, and somebody begins charging it.
